My work explores femininity and relationships between people, examining how we interact with one another and how being a woman influences that behavior. I'm drawn to the power of a story and the ability to create open-ended questions that prompt my audience to engage and answer. I use color, form, and symbolism to express the complexities, softness, contradictions, and strength I associate with womanhood, as I’ve lived it. I’m chasing a certain honesty about identity, vulnerability, and power.
